WHY GATHER TOGETHER FOR DDO?
Can’t I share the gospel online when I’m alone?! We want the Digital Day of Outreach to be like any other outreach we do physically – the only difference is the avenue and tools. And so, we want to gather for DDO and do this together to build and sustain momentum of evangelism, mutual encouragement, and to learn from one another. Steel sharpens steel, fire begets fire, two heads are better than one.
Who can join DDO?
It’s an open event for those who love to connect with their friends and families online via any social media or those who wants to learn how to reach others online.
So what do you need to bring?
Any of the following: laptop, cellphone, tab, broadband stick, walkie talkie, or even a carrier pigeon. 😀 You can bring other people who might want to participate too: churchmates, relatives, boyfriend (if you have), disciples too, if you want!
What should you expect?
We have an awesome program and set of activities lined up for our Digital missionaries: we will have time for prayer, worship, free coffee and food (oh yes), and of course, sharing the Gospel. Some notable Christian leaders in the marketplace will be joining us and sharing their testimonies. We also have some perks reserved just for our Digital missionaries, for fun — you’ll find out at the DDO!
What if you don’t know how to share the Gospel online?
We have an array of digital tools you can download and use for DDO (and even after DDO) which you can find at our website. At the actual Day of Digital Outreach, we will have coaches to help us throughout the process.
Who are we sharing the Gospel to?
The world wide web! Basically, anyone online. You might want to give a heads up to your non-Christian friends, set up online appointments on that day.
Pray for at least 10 potential contacts.
Start discovering where are they right now in their spiritual journey.
Here are some resources that you can use to engage your friend based on their interest and current situation.
What to bring?
